Thank you Orlando!
The Are You Here? book launch party at Oh Hey Cafe in Orlando on Tuesday, March 17th felt so magical. Everything flowed so smoothly. I wasn't nervous like I was last year. I was able to stay present, saying hello to everyone and thanking them for their support.
The arts and craft station had origami seed packets and Are You Here? Coloring sheets. There was also face painting, balloon art, amazing food trucks, a bounce house for bigger kids, and a soft play area for the littlest ones.
The room was filled with smiles and laughter as our MC Travis was beaming with pride, proving once again he is forever my biggest fan. He also performed the We The Kings song “Are You Here” and got everyone to join in.
It’s so important to have moments like these to let grief and joy coexist together because our loved one on the other side want us to live life fully and be filled with happiness. My heart was filled with so much joy AND I still missed my mom and grandpa. I know they are with us every step of the way.
This really feels like a community we are building. I am honored and so grateful for the community of family and friends that have supported us, especially Dili, Pete, Mindy, Jenny, Kristin who helped set up and break down.

It was only natural for our family to kick off our tour in Florida where both Travis and I are from. I’m especially grateful for the moments that ripple outward and silly little synchronicities I’m noticing everywhere we go.
A special thank you to the mom we met who shared the book with her mother-in-law— who was so deeply moved that she then came to our second signing event in Jacksonville to purchase THREE MORE COPIES. We love these stories!
Huge thank you to Jacksonville Mom for spreading the word about these events!
Inspired by her mother’s passing, Jenny wrote Are You Here? as a gentle and creative way for families to talk about grief, love, and connection, helping children process big emotions in a way that feels approachable rather than scary or taboo.
As a child, Jenny was deeply afraid of death and struggled to ask questions. Now, as a parent, she’s shifting that narrative by encouraging openness, imagination, faith, and noticing everyday signs of love and presence.
Travis Clark — Jenny’s husband and frontman of the band We The Kings — will be playing acoustics in the coffee shop alongside Jenny. Travis wrote an original companion song titled “Are You Here” inspired by the book.
