We had TWO free events in Jacksonville.
The first was at The Next Chapter Bookshop on Friday March 21st. The second stop was Happy Medium Book Cafe for a family day of books and music:
Join us for a heart-centered family gathering at Happy Medium Books Cafe as we celebrate the debut of “Are You Here?” by author and mom Jenny Robinson Clark.
Created as a gentle way to help children understand grief, love, and connection, “Are You Here?” opens the door for meaningful conversations in a way that feels comforting, imaginative, and age-appropriate. Inspired by the passing of her own mother, Jenny wrote this book to help families talk about big feelings with more openness, faith, and reassurance.
This special Saturday event will include:
– Signed books on site
– Coloring sheets by the illustrator for kids
– Time to connect with other families
– Live acoustic music in the café
Jenny’s husband, Travis Clark (frontman of We The Kings), will perform an intimate acoustic set, including an original companion song written for the book.
Whether you’re navigating conversations about loss or simply looking for a meaningful way to spend a Saturday morning together, this event is designed to create space for connection, comfort, and community.

Inspired by her mother’s passing, Jenny wrote Are You Here? as a gentle and creative way for families to talk about grief, love, and connection, helping children process big emotions in a way that feels approachable rather than scary or taboo.
As a child, Jenny was deeply afraid of death and struggled to ask questions. Now, as a parent, she’s shifting that narrative by encouraging openness, imagination, faith, and noticing everyday signs of love and presence.
Travis Clark — Jenny’s husband and frontman of the band We The Kings — will be playing acoustics in the coffee shop alongside Jenny. Travis wrote an original companion song titled “Are You Here” inspired by the book.
